A hidden peacock – for the lovers of blue and green

A house came on my way as I was looking for an address. This glazed beauty was hidden behind the trees, the neighbour’s wisteria, and a green high border to protect the house from voyeurs.
A well composed read learned that this art deco house reflects the colour and architectural concept of the architect, Halsey Ricardo. The tiles with a thousand shades of blue at the top can match any sky. The diversity of green glazes at the bottom has an immense depth and makes the house appear light, like a gazebo, floating in the garden surroundings.
